We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach French in our Primary section, delivering engaging and age-appropriate language lessons that build strong foundational skills in communication, culture, and confidence within our international school environment. AIS follows the IBPYP framework and a British-influenced curriculum (aligned with the UK National Curriculum, enhanced with local requirements), and French is introduced as an additional modern foreign language to enrich our students' multilingual development.

Important

Required Skills

· Bachelor's degree in French Language, French Literature, Education (with French specialization), FLE (Français Langue Étrangère), or a closely related field (Master's degree or teaching certification preferred)

· Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, DELF/DALF teaching certification, or equivalent internationally recognized credential)

· Native or near-native fluency in French (both spoken and written); strong command of English for collaboration in our international setting

· Proven experience teaching French as a foreign language to young children (Primary/elementary level), ideally in an international or bilingual school environment

· Excellent classroom management, creativity, and ability to engage young learners through interactive and play-based methods

· Passion for language education, cultural exchange, and supporting diverse learners

· Ability to integrate technology, songs, visuals, and modern pedagogical approaches in language teaching

· Preferably 2+ years of relevant teaching experience in a Primary or international context

· Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing professional growth
